Part C HIV/AIDS Consumer Advisory Board

Mission: The mission of the RCHCA Part C Citizens Advisory Board is to improve the quality of healthcare and life to the Part C patients/clients of RCHCA.

Membership is voluntary and open to anyone with an interest and commitment to the Part C program and a willingness to work on tasks and assignments related to the purpose and function of the CAB.

Confidentiality: CAB members acknowledge the privacy rights of clients, staff, and CAB members by signing the RCHCA Confidentiality Agreement.

Structure: The CAB is composed of work groups to address issues related to: (1) Support (2) Outreach and (3) Advocacy. Officers of the CAB include a Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, and a Secretary.

Meetings: The CAB conducts monthly meetings, which are usually held at the Richland Primary Health Care. Work groups of the CAB may meet more frequently at the discretion of the participants. CAB members who travel a distance to attend meetings are reimbursed for their gas mileage.
